A cloud that has to belong to the same sun, the same sand and the same hand on the camera.
The brief
The creator Younes Zarou came with his own reference: a cloud low enough to reach, caught in a carrier bag in the desert — filmed the way a phone films, live and unpolished.
How it was made
The cloud had to belong to the same sun, the same sand and the same hand on the camera. We built it into the footage with VFX and kept the footage looking exactly as it was shot: no polish that would give the trick away.
The result
A short film for the creator's audience in which the effect is the whole point, and nothing else in the frame has changed.
