The Orchid Patio — Flower and skin
Two films and a series of photographs we made for The Orchid Patio — jewellery among the flowers it is shaped like, and jewellery worn.
The idea
A piece shaped like an orchid, next to a real one. It works only if you can still tell them apart.
The brief
The Orchid Patio makes jewellery shaped like orchids. The brand needed films and a series of photographs that would show the pieces among real flowers and worn — and keep the jewellery readable as jewellery next to the thing it is shaped like.
How it was made
Two films — one in the wild, one on the model — and a series of photographs built on one rule: a piece stands next to a real orchid, and it works only if you can still tell them apart. Gold, crystal drops and petals are lit as one scene; the forest floor, the butterfly and the model were made with AI around the pieces.
The result
Two films and a series of photographs in one world — the pieces in detail, in the wild and worn — a complete set for a collection: product pages, campaign and social.
